We are all human and as such most of us struggle with productivity and staying focused on the big picture items that will make us better humans in life and business. There are a lot of techniques and strategies out there to help us. As someone who has tried a lot of them and failed to keep momentum with most long term, I wanted to share with you the one Goal Tracking Tool that really works best for me. It’s an app call the Productivity Wizard. I will also tell you that I am not being paid to this either. I just really like this program.
Despite the kind of cheesy name, the way it works makes a whole lot of sense for me. If you frequently end your day wishing you got more done (like me) or have big strategic plans for your gallery business that you never quite seem to get to, then read on. You might love this app as much as I do.
It seems like feeling overwhelmed and being constantly interrupted or distracted is a way of life these days. We know we work really hard, but are not sure we are accomplishing much significant to make our lives and businesses happy and rewarding.
The productivity wizard helps to define meaningful, big picture goals, set milestones and activities. It helps you break down big goals into completely doable smaller actions that each move you a little closer to victory. In the process of setting your big goals, you think through them in greater detail and make working towards accomplishing them part of your daily routine. Breaking down goals into small actions to incorporate into your daily activity, you are prioritizing these goals in your life and business. Sure, this isn’t rocket science, but often it is easier said then done. This app makes it easy to actually get to done.
“Being clear about your goals, writing them down and making them part of your daily routine, will help you achieve amazing results. But in order to sustain momentum and enjoy your accomplishments, your goals must be in alignment with your values, your passions and your life purpose.”
– Productivity Wizard
This app works for me because it is on my phone, which of course is with me all the time. I have tried physical planners too, but I never seem to have it with me when I have a big idea. By the time I got back to my office, the idea was gone because a million other things flew through my brain to interrupt my train of thought.
The other interesting feature this Goal Tracking Tool offers is a section for morning and evening reflection. It’s a bit like journaling, which is the latest craze in designing your life. Each section asks just a few questions that force you to really think about how you use your time during the day and make the most progress towards your goals.
Confession – I was apprehensive about using this feature. It didn’t seem like it would mesh with the way I my brain worked. It felt a little “fluffy” to me. However, I found it really helped me find clarity and improved my level of motivation to keep moving forward. It also helped me to identify some trends in my work day that were holding me back.

You can also set weekly routines, reoccurring activities and other fun features with the pro version. Just search for it by name in your app store.I fill in my morning thoughts curled up on the sofa with my coffee in front of the morning news. It makes me plan my day putting my goals first and all the other stuff second. The evening routine is also on the sofa at the end of the day with a glass of wine or cup of tea (depending on how the day went).
To the Point
The program is smartly designed to allow you to set goals and priorities and actually act on them daily. So many of us end the day, week, month or year with regret that we didn’t accomplish more of what is important to our lives and businesses. This Goal Tracking Tool app has made such a difference for me, I had to share it with you.
